Hiking and Fireworks and Company...Oh My!

We have been blessed with company this past week. We celebrated the 4th of July with Mike's brother's family, Ken and Amanda with their crew, who drove up from Snowflake to hang with us.

In the early afternoon, we hiked the Lava River Cave. It is about 30 minutes north of Flagstaff. The cave is about 3/4 of a mile long and it gets too small to go all the way out. I've heard you can crawl farther in, but the adults decided that was far enough, but the kids would have continued I'm sure.

Sorry, there are no pictures in the cave...too dark!

On our way out.

We had great food. Mike got a new grill for his birthday (a few days early). Then we headed over to the fireworks. Amanda's camera is much better than ours at night shots, so here are photos from her Facebook.

Chris didn't want his picture taken much, sorry, no photos of Chris at fireworks.
